Active Release Technique (ART)

ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based therapy that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.

Corrective Exercise (CES)

The CES integrates the science and the solutions for optimal injury prevention and recovery success! The NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM CES) Advanced Specialization was developed in response to the growing need for professionals with the ability to assist clients experiencing musculoskeletal impairments, muscle imbalances or rehabilitation concerns. The CES provides the advanced knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully work with clients suffering from musculoskeletal impairments, imbalances or post-rehabilitation concerns.

Kinesio Tape

The Kinesio Taping Method was developed nearly 25 years ago in Japan. It has since become the gold standard for therapeutic rehabilitative taping. This method of taping uses a uniquely designed and patented tape for treatment of muscular disorders and lymphedema reduction.
Kinesio Taping involves taping over and around muscles in order to assist and give support or to prevent over-contraction. The first technique gives the practitioner the opportunity to actually give support while maintaining full range of motion, enabling the individual to participate in physical activity with functional assistance. The second technique helps prevent overuse or over-contraction and helps provide facilitation of lymph flow 24 hours per day.

Graston Technique

The Graston Technique®, originally developed by athletes, is changing the way clinicians — including athletic trainers, chiropractors, physical therapists, occupational therapists — and patients view treatment of acute and chronic soft tissue injuries.

Graston Technique® is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The Technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.

Chiropratic Services

Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health.  Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.

Our practice is a musculoskeletal based practice specializing in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions like back or neck sprain, disc herniations, tendonitis in the ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows and wrists. We also help in diagnosing and treating all sports injuries.

The methods that we use to address these Injuries include biomechanical evaluation, posture evaluation and evaluation of the patient functional movement.
